Veils of Light: A Discourse on Various Aspects of the Quran: Thursdays from 12th April 2018 – 7pm to 9pm [5 sessions] #II28

In the name of Allah. Most Gracious. Most Merciful

The Prophet Muhammad  sallallaahu `alayhi wa sallam ( may Allah exalt his mention ) said: “Whoever follows a path in the pursuit of knowledge, Allah will make a path to Paradise easy for him.” (Al-Bukhari)

A Discourse on Various Aspects of the Quran

Since the dawn of the revelation of the Quran, hearts have been drawn towards it as the one single lamp that guides towards success in a sea of darkness. The Quran is the greatest of all miracles for numerous reasons. Of these reasons is its miraculous nature transcending time and place. For this very reason forces of evil will always try and veil its guidance by any means at possible.

It is important that as followers of the Quran we are able to derive guidance by constantly increasing our knowledge of the Quran. This knowledge will have a dual purpose:

1. To be part of those who are illuminated by the light of the Quran
2. To defend the various attacks from Shaytan and his group as they try to cast doubt

With the inception of the Quran many sciences have naturally developed as a means that Allah has chosen to protect His noble word. Of these sciences is the Sciences of Quran which centres on all topics related to the preservation of the Quran in its pristine state and its pristine teachings.

Whilst this science as many others are very detailed we have designed a workshop which touches on fundamental topics in a manner that will equip the layman to increase his level of certainty of this great miracle and at the same time to recognise and repel doubt from its enemies.

Object: To broaden our understanding of the Sciences of Quran
