  Explanation of the Book of
AR-RIQAQ – Saheeh Al Bukhari
(Softening of the Hearts)

The Prophet (ﷺ) said, “ Behold, verily in the body there is a lump of flesh, when it is pure, the whole body will be pure, and when it is corrupt, the whole body will be corrupt, behold, it is the heart.”

Everyone needs a reminder of the reality of life as our hearts harden during our quest to live the life of the dunyah.

Imam Al Bukhari gathered heart-softening ahadeeth in one chapter so that we may reflect on them and soften our hardened hearts.

Tranquility of our bodies and souls can be a tough journey to face alone…

The Prophet (ﷺ) said Allah will give shade to seven (types of people) under His Shade (on the Day of Resurrection). (one of them will be) a person who remembers Allah and his eyes are then flooded with tears. [Sahih al-Bukhari 6479]
