Saturday Arabic and Quran Studies Course
Learn the Arabic language in order  to understand the Quran as you recite or listen to it in just TWO YEARS through a tried and tested method… (basic ability to read Quran is required)

Online tutoring and supplementary learning available… Digital presentation classes

Course Details:
Registration is officially open and all interested students may secure registration via email! Registration fee R350 (incl. Course material excl. January tuition fees)

  • Where : Masjid al-Munowar, Square Hill, Concert Boulevard
  • When : Every Saturday starting on Saturday 18th January 2014
  • Time : 08:00 – 11:30 (with a break)
  • Fees : R200 per month per person (including course material)

Subjects Covered:

  • Arabic Grammar – Nahu
  • Morphology – Sarf
  • Grammatical Analysis – I’rab
  • Quran Tafsir/ Translation

Dar al-Mahamid tertiary Arabic studies

Sunday Mornings from January 12 2014 – AQS12 Sundays – Part Time

Have you studied Arabic and now want to take it further or continue on a part-time basis?

  • Equivalent to a second year full time Arabic and Islamic Studies Course.
  • Ladies and Men over the age of 16
  • Sundays from 8am-12pm @ Masjid al-Munowar, Concert Blvd Retreat

Learn the classical Islamic sciences (Tafsir; Fiqh; Aqidah; Hadith and Hadith Sciences) at the feet of qualified scholars on a part time basis from both classic and contemporary sources. Master the skill of vowel-less Arabic reading with one on one tutoring. Have full access to a fully equipped Arabic library and research facility. The classes are held in the serene environment of the Masjid (Masjid al-Munowar). Classes are interactive, engaging and intellectually stimulating.

Students who are interested require a working knowledge of Arabic grammar and morphology with a diploma of at least one year full time or two years part time courses. Course material provided.
